Hatha yoga is the main form of yoga that exists in the West. I teach in the style of Anusara yoga which means "Flowing with Grace" or "Going with the Flow". The foundation of yoga is based on the proper alignment of the body in the pose, breathing and an open mind. So come with a smile!
Children from different age group learn easy and fun (animal) postures to bring attention and concentration and to cope with pressure and stress. Besides traditional postures, we use games for breath, music percussion and drawing for concentration.
Children must be 3 to start.
After six to eight weeks postpartum, continue your yoga practice this time with your baby. In this class we focus on postures that help to restore the core and tone the back muscles. Baby and mommy bond even more while they do postures together. Babies must be at least 6-weeks to crawling.
Prenatal yoga can be an ideal way to stay in shape during your pregnancy.
Using gentle postures and learning how to breath deeply help to prepare for labor and birth.
